FATHER Christmas will be visiting various areas of Tavistock this month, starting on Friday.

Tavistock Rotary Club will be accompanying him all through December and, as well as visiting on Christmas Eve, he will be stopping off in various parts of the town.

Santa told the Times: ‘I really look forward to coming to Tavistock. I get to see lots and lots of my favourite people and, last year, I even got to meet Princess Elsa and Princess Anna. I wonder who I’ll see this year?’

Father Christmas will start at Tavistock’s Bedford Square tomorrow (Friday) from 10am to 2pm; St Davids/Greenlands on Tuesday, December 6 from 6pm to 7.30pm; Manor Park on Wednesday, December 7 from 6pm to 7.30pm; Westmoor/Mohuns/Chollacott on Thursday, December 8 from 6pm to 7.30pm; Bedford Square on Friday, December 9 from 10am to 2pm; Deer Park on Tuesday, December 13 from 6pm to 7.30pm; Bishopsmead on Wednesday, December 14 from 6pm to 7.30pm; Tesco on Thursday, December 15 from 10am to 4pm; Redmoor Close area on Thursday, December 15 from 6pm to 7.30pm; Tesco on Friday, December 16 from 10am to 4pm; Morrisons on Saturday, December 17 from 10am to 4pm; Church Lea/Priory Close/Whiteacres on Sunday, December 18 from 6pm to 7.30pm; Monksmead on Tuesday, December 20 from 6pm to 7.30pm; Tiddybrook on Wednesday, December 21 from 6pm to 7.30pm and Morrisons on Thursday, December 22 from 10am to 4pm and Friday, December 23 from 10am to 4pm.
