AFTER 20 years running Spry's Motors, Alan and Janet Spry are retiring from the motor trade.

The business, at the Crelake Industrial Estate, Tavistock, will be continued by new owner Chris Hamley. Mr and Mrs Spry, from Horrabridge, will spend their last day of trading on February 27 before handing over the reins.

'We would like to thank our customers for their loyalty and support over the past 20 years' said Mrs Spry.

The business started off at the Old Model Laundry.

It then moved to the Abbey Garage before the units at Crelake were built.

Spry's Motors have been at the present location for ten years.
