DOZEN intrepid runners/walkers took part and completed the mile run in Tavistock very warm conditions in a special run as part of National Family Week.

Every Wednesday up to 20 young people take part in the mile fun run, starting from the Green Hut in the Meadows. This run is free of charge.

New runners are welcome to join us.

Starting on Wednesday, June 16 an adults club will be starting under the umbrella of Run in England. The run will start at 5.45pm and the cost will be £2 per session. At the end of the 10 weeks session each participant will receive a Run in England tee-shirt, logbook and hand held water bottle.

On June 15 there is a walk, jog run with 321 around the Meadows in aid of Devon Air Ambulance. It starts at 6.15pm and costs £3. For entry details go to http://www.daat.org">www.daat.org or contact Mhairi McCall on the number above.
