THE Tavistock Triangle Centre and Chemo-outreach Project organised a day visit to Coombe Trenchard House recently, to which a group of 43 attended.

The group enjoyed coffee and home-made biscuits, followed by tours of the extensive gardens and the historic house.

Following the tours, the guests were entertained by David Lashbrook on the keyboard, playing from the Minstrel Gallery during a buffet lunch.

At the end of the lunch, a raffle was drawn, with generously donated prizes, including a night's bed and breakfast stay at Coombe Trenchard House, a falconry experience day, and vouchers for Cosmetic Contours of Tavistock.

The help and contributions of everyone involved, raised a total of £740, towards the funding of the centre, which come at an important time in the development of the Triangle and outreach project.

In the next couple of months both services will be enjoying the privilege of operating under the roof of the newly refurbished Tavistock Clinic.
