FORMER Tavistock composer and resident Adrian Vernon Fish makes a welcome return to West Devon in January. Adrian will be at the Wharf, Tavistock on Wednesday evenings when he will be exploring two works of Vaughan Williams and Gustav Mahler. He will ?go under the skin? of the symphonies. Adrian will look at them from the composer?s viewpoint, explaining the background, and showing how the works were constructed illustrating this from the piano. A full performance will follow on CD. On January 5 and 12 he will be talking about ?O Vast Rondure? ? Vaughan Williams? ?A Sea Symphony?. On January 19 and 26 Adrian will talk avout ?Soaring Towards the Light? ?
