THE Moorland Garden Hotel at Yelverton has teamed up with the experts at the Garden House to dig into a rich seam of horticultural know-how for a glorious day of gardening on Sunday April 13.

The Garden House's cutting- edge horticultural excellence and innovation will be shared with visitors to the hotel for a 'Planning your Garden' event.

Joined by head gardner of the Garden House Nick Howarth, the day will be a delight for garden enthusiasts of all levels with talks, stalls and advice in the grounds of the Moorland Garden Hotel.

As well as bountiful garden tips, visitors will be able to enjoy a three-course lunch created using locally-grown produce in the Wildflower Restaurant or the Dartmoor Bar.

Continuing on a garden theme, the hotel's chosen charity for this year will also have a presence, with a stall selling Primrose Foundation merchandise to help raise funds for its Breast Care Centre at Derriford Hospital.

The day runs from 11am until 4pm and booking is advised.
