The A team gave an energetic performance, with Billy Lambeth and Guy Gillard pressing the opposition and finding plenty of shooting chances. This was a match that Mount House could well have won, but in the end lost narrowly 2-3. In the B team fixture, excellent link play between Jeremy Steed and Jacob David-Ward resulted in an early Mount house goal from Jacob. The match was finely balanced. Both Ralph Lopes and Jeremy Steed battled hard in midfield competing for the ball, while Oscar Norris snuffed out many Plymouth attacks.
