MOUNT Kelly pupils Emma Bowles (Year 7) along with Charlie Page and Alex Wagstaff (both in Year 3) have qualified for the second round of the BBC Radio 2 ‘500 Words’ story competition.

Pupils at Mount Kelly were encouraged to get creative and put pen to paper and the three chosen are among the top 4,500 of the 123,000 entries.
