THERE were no clangers from Horrabridge pupils as they took part in the 44th Lamerton Handbell Festival recently.

Two teams of Year 4 and 5 children took part and entered the junior competition, in which they came second and third.

The Horrabridge pupils also won the Roy Bould Trophy, awarded to the group the judges felt they would most like to encourage.

The festival gave the children the opportunity to see various adult teams play.
