THE ‘Risen’ Easter Celebration is again taking place this year in Tavistock’s Town Hall.

On Easter Monday evening (March 28) Christians from across Tavistock and the surrounding area will gather to celebrate together. There will be inspirational music and singing with a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary songs. 

The event is being run by Tavistock Area Christians Together (TACT) which represents the united body of churches and Christians in the Tavistock area.

David Palmer, chairman of TACT said: ‘We welcome everyone to celebrate the good news of Easter with a time of worship and sharing with participants across the generations and the churches of Tavistock — a chance to discover the real meaning of Easter’.

Taking place from 7.30pm to 9pm, there is no need to book. Admission is free and everyone is assured of a warm welcome.
