AFTER 10 minutes of open play, the first goal for Tavistock came from Gasper, which was shortly followed by another from Toyton before White, with some good attacking play, took the ball into the D and over the line to make it 3-0.

The team worked well, passing the ball in their triangles up the pitch to find the gaps in the Plym Valley defence. Tavistock had to defend a few short corners, but the defence of Evans, Mills Hicks and Colston were solid and ensured that the team cleared the ball efficiently.

Home goalkeeper Vigers was put under some pressure during a few breaks in the game, but produced some superb defensive kicks to keep the opposition goals at bay.

A flurry of activity game in the second half with passes up the midfield to the attack working well with McClumpha, Armstrong, and Langsford, and Sarah Law scoring five more goals to take Tavistock Ladies to a convincing 8-0 win. The game finished five minutes before the official end due to an injury to a Plym Valley player.

Tavistock ladies battled hard from start to finish to secure another league victory.
