I'D just like to thank the person who let their dog foul the town steps near Rocky Hill in the last few days. They did not pick up after their dog.

Thanks to their lack of concern for others and their laziness, my five-year-old arrived at church with dog's mess on his shoes, sock, trousers and even on his leg. It would be nice if you would consider the mess and upset your pet's fouling causes as you blithely walk away, leaving someone else to literally clean up after you.

Sadly, in Tavistock, this is all to common.
