BRINGING back memories of the second world war, Christopher Bailey from Crapstone is pictured standing by a Dodge 1943 command car in his 1938 Devon Constabulary uniform at Dartmoor Railway in Okehampton. Despite the dreadful weather last Sunday, scores of military vehicles from the South West gathered in the station?s car park on display to visitors. Driver of the Dodge, Peter Gallie, from Chilaton, said: ?You can get a bit wet when the rain is driving from one side to the other through the vehicle ? which has no side covering.?
