DIVING instructors training students from Chelfham School in local pools over the winter have been impressed by the boys? enthusiasm and determination. Such was the success of the first diving course, that the newly trained divers will be taken for their first sea dives this summer. The students had to overcome individual problems to gain their achievement and school staff said they were very proud. A spokesperson for the school said: ?The students face many challenges in their life but this was a completely new experience for all taking part. ?On completion they earned a certificate, but, more importantly, by making an effort to try something different the students attained a tremendous boost to their self-esteem.?
