THE West Devon Holiday Activity and Play Directory 2011 is now available to parents across the borough.

The directory is a free guide packed full of activities, events and places to visit during the holidays for children and young people of all ages and their families.

The play directory will be distributed to every child at school, pre-school or nursery in West Devon again this year.

It contains more than 40 activity listings, many of which are free or low cost to attend and most are in the West Devon Area.

Look out for the directory at libraries, village and community halls, doctor's surgeries, children's centres, leisure centres, community organisations, civic reception areas and other public buildings.

Developed by West Devon Borough Council in partnership with the West Devon Play Forum, the directory was produced by Community Sport Limited and funded by advertisers.

Cllr Mandy Govier, chair of the West Devon Play Forum said: 'I am so pleased that we are able to offer an even more fun-packed holiday activity and play directory this year.

'Having all of these activities in one place makes planning the holidays simple and the free directory is a great resource for children and their families.'
