Tavistock Ladies 6 Galmpton 0 TAVISTOCK started determined after their defeat two weeks ago by Galmpton. There was a different look to the side with key players out, but Ruth Cole filled the centre of defence. The game started with the ball in Galmpton?s half for the majority of the first half. Good runs from Donna Hone kept opening up the Galmpton defence and in the 27th minute Tavistock opened the scoring with a good shot from Kate Atkinson, which the keeper had no chance of saving. Galmpton had the odd attack but good defending from Tavistock?s defence kept Galmpton at bay and with a few minutes left in the first half Rhianne Parsons scored her first goal of the game with a low show past the keeper, to end the half 2-0 to Tavistock. The second half started like the first with good runs from Hone and a Jones opening Galmpton, and Parsons scored her second goal. Some more good play from Tavistock set Atkinson away to score her second goal and the game just looked one sided. A good five minutes saw Atkinson score her third and fourth goals.
