A FATHER and daughter from Tavistock helped raise thousands of pounds recently, by getting on their bikes for Marie Cure Nursing services.
Daisy and Richard Guilor joined more than 30 cyclists to take part in the Great Daffodil Bike Ride in aid of the Marie Curie Nursing Services.
Cyclists set off from Bissoe Cycle Hire and rode along the old tramways route to Portreath where they were greeted with hot and cold drinks before making their return journey.
Cyclists travelled from all over Devon and Cornwall to support the event and a total of £2,100 has been raised so far which will pay for 105 hours of Marie Curie Nursing care.
