THERE was no action for the Tavistock?s Lambs last weekend. The Carlsberg side were without a game and the Plymouth and West Devon side?s game fell foul of the weather with the Langsford Park pitch waterlogged. It is hoped conditions will improve for this weekend as the Lambs have a crucial home game against near rivals Callington. Despite their off the field problems the previous week Callington recorded a notable victory over St Austell last weekend to ease themselves up the table which makes it even more a vital game for the Lambs to ease their own re-election position. The P & WD side will have to wait to see if they progress in the Challenge Bowl as they return to league action this Saturday with an away fixture against Rok F C at Tothill enclosure with a 2.15pm kick off. On Sunday Tavistock Ladies are home to Galmpton 2pm. Tavistock Under 18?s away to Efford 2pm. On Wednesday, January 26 in the Bedford Cup Callington play Bere Alston at Langsford Park 7pm.
