Okehampton Columbines 3
Marjohns 0
OKEHAMPTON ladies' hockey team largely dominated this game and should have won more comfortably.
At time they played good flowing hockey, but were less positive on their final passes.
Pressure on the Marjohn's goal led to a penalty being awarded to the Columbines which Jo Moppett converted.
Sarah Toms never gave up fighting for the ball and had a strong game at left wing, ably supported by Jane Jones at left half, who drilled balls into the circle.
Sue Stanbury was influential in the middle and Debbie Pritchard and Alex Collins snuffed out any Marjohn's attack down the left.
Kelly Cooper rewarded Okehampton's persistent attack with two well taken goals for a final score of 3-0.
This week Columbines are away in the league to Looe, who play at Liskeard.
