Okehampton U10s 25 Exeter Chiefs 0 IN a stop-start game due to injuries to Chiefs? players, it was difficult to get momentum or fluidity. Okehampton scored some good tries when they moved the ball quickly. Giles Heard scored two, Luke Liversidge one, Josh Bickley one and Will Cooper one. The Chiefs have improved and in contact Okehampton did not have it all their own way, but when they used players in space they created tries. North Okes U9s 35 Exeter Chiefs U9s 0 NORTH/OKES dominated from the start when Daniel Fogerty?s first tackle of the match sent Chiefs backwards. Scoring shortly afterwards meant North/Okes were looking confident. Ben Sharp kept the pressure on stopping Chiefs from getting any room and when they did find space good tackling from Callum Mallett and Luke Shin put them into touch. Good hands from Tom Pierce and Luke Shin popping out to Daniel Squires meant he crossed over the line to take North/Okes well into the lead at half-time. George Courtier came on for Ben Sharp in the front row and Alie Francis came on at flyhalf. Angus Francis moved into scrum half, but even with all these changes and people playing out of position Chiefs never really threatened the North/Okes side. Richard Hann was winning all his line-out battles, allowing the backs good clean ball, but Chiefs gave away penalty after penalty for offside. It meant North/Okes walked away with a well deserved win. Training match Friday night 6pm.
