JUBILANT rowers from the Tavy and Tamar Gig Club ladies? team back on shore after competing in their first event at the World Championships at the Isles of Scilly on Saturday.
The ladies, who have only had use of the club?s new gig ?Ginette? for one week, joined more than 90 other gigs for the 3,400m long-distance seeding trial row from St Agnes to St Mary?s to qualify for the 15th World Championships.
