EXETER outran and out thought Tavistock. The visitors back four were without Della Maloney and although Tania Coker made a right nuisance of herself the long ball forward beat Stock when she rushed out of goal. Hammond and Hurley in midfield worked hard to get the ball to strikers Gordon and Bammons but shots were either superbly saved or wide.

Exeter scored again from a replica goal but Bammons worked hard to get one back for Tavistock, while Glasspoole commanded from the back.

In the second half Tavistock worked hard but simple passing went out the window and heavy touches and passing lost them the game.

The goal of the match came from player of the match Glasspoole who superbly lobbed the keeper from 30 yards.
