THE North Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team's fundraising efforts will receive a boost thanks to a charity ceilidh this weekend.

The Cambridge University Ceilidh Band will perform at Okehampton Town Hall on Saturday, September 8 from 7.30pm.

The band is a thriving society at the university, playing folk tunes from Britain and beyond. The money raised will help boost the charity's efforts to raise funds for a new rescue centre on Exeter Road Industrial Estate.
