JU Jitsu Tavistock took part in the Tamerton Foliot Carnival by performing a jujitsu demonstration in front of hundreds of people.

Umberto, the club instructor, said: 'We started preparing and rehearsing the demonstration hoping to create something entertaining for the public as well as portraying what jujitsu is all about. I am proud to say it was fantastic. Everyone did extremely well especially the youngsters as they only had two sessions to prepare their display.'

The club meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Scout Hall in Pixon Lane, Tavistock.
