A MUSICAL duo from Okehampton are going from strength to strength, having lined up a series of large live gigs in the next few months.

Tim 'TurkYsh' Greensill and Johne 'Johne C' Coakley are two DJs who joined forces in 2011 to produce tracks together under the moniker 'Prognosis'. They perform sets that straddle a number of genres, from trance to tech-house.

They have recently been signed up by a record label called Applique Music.

The duo are scheduled to play the Home House Members' Club in London, the Echo Boat Hallowe'en party on the River Thames, and at the Warehouse Project in Manchester on October 20.

The Manchester gig will give the pair plenty of exposure, as they play alongside succcessful acts including Dutch trance DJ Armin van Buuren. They also have a booking to play in the Ministry of Sound on December 7.

Alongside these gigs, Prognosis have teamed up with a group of DJs in Plymouth to host an event in the city's Voodoo Lounge once every six weeks, called 'Dirty Little Stopout'. The nights will be hosted by Dekadance, the group originally developed by the duo to provide an opportunity for local musicians to promote themselves as DJs and play live events in Okehampton and across the area.

The duo continue to run a bi-weekly online radio show and podcast called Desire4Dance —visit http://www.youtube.com/user/Desire4Dance">www.youtube.com/user/Desire4Dance
