DO you have old pictures of the brownies, the guides, a football match, a walk, or a band in Simmons Park? Okehampton Moving Pictures is putting together a DVD display of the history of Simmons Park as part of the park's centenary celebrations this July. The finished product will be shown in the Charter Hall, and the group is keen to borrow any films, video tapes or still photographs of people using the park for activities or entertainments. Donated material will be copied into digital format and everyone whose film or pictures are used will receive a DVD of the final product. The group would like to thank all those who have already managed to rummage around their attics to find old photos, slides, videos, and cine tapes.
