STAFF from the Okehampton branch of Concept Staffing will be caught on camera during the next 12 months, as the company takes part in a year-long project being used by a national business website.
The company, which has its head office at Barnstaple, was one of only two firms to be featured in the special IT project for the UK Online for Business website.
Maria Smith, Concept?s founder and managing director, said: ?The idea is to illustrate to businesses the pros and cons and all the pitfalls of implementing IT strategies.
?A TV production company will be filming us on a monthly basis and has provided us with state-of-the-art equipment so we can keep a video diary of the progress we are making with our own IT strategy. It will then be edited and shown on the website to help other businesses in similar situations.?
UK Online for Business, delivered in Devon and Cornwall by Business Link, is a DTi/industry partnership which promotes
e-commerce among small and medium-sized companies.
Business Link has helped Concept Staffing to develop an IT strategy involving high-speed Broadband internet access at its branches and an intranet link in its offices.
