MEMBERS of the Okehampton Camera Club are preparing to face their counterparts from Tavistock in the annual Slide and Print Battle. A selection of the best slides and prints from the clubs will be pitted against each other, with an independent judge deciding on the winner. Colin MacPherson was the winner of both the slide and monochrome print categories in the club's recent 'Reflections' competition, with his pictures of Lake Moraine and Lagonda, while Stuart Black won the colour print class with an image entitled 'Meldon Moods'. The competition against Tavistock will be held at the Conservative Club, Kempley Road, at 7.30pm on Monday March 19. Visitors are very welcome.
