THE Original Barber Shop in Tavistock swapped scissors for spatulas last week, and baked a range of cakes for a fundraising cake party.
Owner of the shop Paul Ewings held a cake party with donations going to ROC (Robert Owen Communities), which aims to provide social inclusion and opportunities for people with learning difficulties.
A stand was set up outside the shop in the Pannier Market surround offering a variety of cakes and biscuits made by Paul's wife Mandy, staff members Chloe Harman and Jodie Pethick and cakes contributed by Jane's Cakes and Country Market.
Town mayor Cllr Harry Smith was in attendance to show his support for ROC, which is his nominated charity of the year, and members of ROC Welcome Tavistock also attended.
