TWO cadet sergeants with 2312 (Tavistock) Squadron RAF Cadets have been awarded their gliding wings.
They completed gliding scholarships, but in very different ways.

James Brown completed his scholarship with 626 Squadron at Predannick in Cornwall. The squadron operates the Viking aircraft which is winch-launched. James gained his wings after 60 launches.
Unit CO Sqn Ldr John Olver said: 'Gliding is an important part of cadet activities and will be into the future.'
The squadron has started its winter programme and new members who can join at 13 years of age are welcome — call 01822 612743 for details or visit 2312squadron.com
