OKEHAMPTON based accountancy firm Simpkins Edwards has unveiled a new look for its six offices, with the introduction of fresh new branding and a logo that reflects its growing range of digital and online tax solutions as well as its focus on specialist sectors.

Launched ahead of its 50th anniversary next year, the new brand has been developed and designed by Crediton-based design agency, All Saints.

Adrian Hemmings, partner at Simpkins Edwards LLP, said: ’The introduction of our new branding signifies our focus on making tax easier and more efficient for our clients.

’This is important as over the next year the government’s Making Tax Digital (MTD) initiative will have a series of implications for businesses with turnovers in excess of £10,000.  Those businesses will now have to file their income and expenses with HMRC online on a quarterly basis.

’For many this will be daunting, however the good news is that MTD will ultimately save our clients’ time, giving our team of tax experts greater ‘real-time’ information that can be used to implement sophisticated tax solutions.

’Our commitment to providing ‘cloud-based’ solutions will smooth this process putting us in a good position to help family businesses and SMEs of all sizes navigate their way through these changes.

’Our aim is to make the transition to digital as straight forward as possible for our clients.  We want businesses to think tax, think digital and think Simpkins Edwards.’
