I SEE that you have published an article in your edition of April 7 informing readers that Devon Bus will publish, in the new spring timetable, Service 179 run by Carmel between Okehampton School Way and the Community Hospital, leaving School Way at 11.40 and returning from the Hospital at 13.15. The article made me wonder whether the new timetable will include an amendment to First Bus services X9, X10 and X11. According to the present timetable, buses on these services stop in Okehampton at Fore Street. In fact, the stop is in West Street. I drew the attention of both First Bus and county to this some time ago. I received a polite acknowledgement from First Bus to the effect that the timetable would be amended, but this has not happened. I did not receive any acknowledgement from county.
