TAVISTOCK lost the toss and were put in to bat. They found it difficult against quick bowling from Castle and Steytler.

Openers McGahey and Walter went for 12 runs. Roesstorff and Mortimore batted on for a partnership of 37 until Roesstorff was caught for 21.

Mortimore batted on for 42 and Manning made 53. Tavistock were 176 for 9 at tea.

Brixton set about getting this small total. Doel struck in his first over, but poor fielding from Tavistock let Brixham get the score with 15 balls to spare.
