Brixham Colts 63

Tavistock Colts 7

IT took the first half for Tavistock to lose their lethargy after a long journey but it was too late to save the game.

Tavistock led early on after an interception try from Mike Rowe, which he converted.

Branfield was prominent in all he did and looked one of the fitter members of the pack. The back row of Jones, Boreham and Gorman must have exceeded their usual tackle count and did a lot to thwart the

opposition.

Moy at scrum half played mostly off the back foot until a late surge allowed him to feed his threes and keep the pressure on Brixham for long periods, but the backs' cutting edge was missing, especially after Stribley left the field after turning an ankle.

Prop Dave Vince pulled off several tackles as he upped his game in the last quarter.

Training Wednesday 7pm. Next game away to Wadebridge on Saturday.
