DJM U12s Warspite St Cleer Youth 2 Horrabridge U12s 3 ST Cleer playing down the hill started the game well and found themselves a goal up after 10 minutes when Coates fired home from 15 yards. This woke Horrabridge up and it wasn't long before they equalised when Billy Rawlinson raced clear to have his first shot well saved but he reacted well to smash home the rebound. Horrabridge then went in front after a great through ball from Dan Dawes sent Aaron Johnson bursting through to fire past the goalkeeper from 25 yards. St Cleer then had chances to score goals but were stopped by a series of outstanding saves by Alex Madar. The second half was dominated by Rangers, who missed a host of chances before Aaron Johnson scored from 30 yards in spectacular style. Horrabridge again piled the pressure on the home defence but some fine goalkeeping kept St Cleer in the game and they made the visitors pay for missing chances when Coates found the back of the net for his second. Horrabridge then defended well at the end to secure all three points. Player of the match: Aaron Johnson.
