STAFF members at Tavistock's WH Smith paraded round in their wellies for the day recently to raise money for research into childhood illness.

Catherine Davey and store supervisor Vickie Hitchcock managed to raise £30 by donning their wellies for Action Medical Research.

The pair wore their wellies all day and generous customers dropped their donations into the collection welly at the till.

Catherine said: 'I would like to say a big thank you to our customers and all staff that donated.'
