A CAMPER van which caught fire on the A30 dual carriageway near to Whiddon Down roundabout had to be put out by Okehampton firefighters. Two appliances from Okehampton were called out to the fire at 12.47pm on Sunday, August 6. Two hose reels, two breathing apparatus sets and a thermal imaging camera were used by the crews. The van was severely damaged by fire.
