LANDLORDS of the Burrator Inn presented a generous cheque to a charity helping terminally ill children.

Sara and Phil Cater presented a cheque for £3,052.38 to Judy Pride of Children's Hospice South West, which was raised by their son Dan's efforts at the London Marathon this year, the sponsorship he obtained as well as the proceeds from events and fundraising at the Burrator Inn.

This is the second year Dan has run the marathon for Children's Hospice South West.

Last year the family's joint efforts accumulated around £4,000.
