A COMPREHENSIVE events booklet has been designed and produced by Tavistock Business Improvement District (BID) to help encourage visitors to book their visit to the town.

The calendar, which details all the events between now and December 2013, has been distributed to locals shops and eateries as well as sent to accommodation providers to share with customers. 

Electronic copies of the handy diary have also been produced for tourism providers to send to their existing database.

Tavistock BID manager Lisa Wadling said: 'There is so much going on in Tavistock. The BID calendar brings all the crucial what's on dates together in one conveniently sized guide to help give both locals and visitors a heads up.

'We'll be producing another one for events from January onwards.'
