FORMER pupils of Chagford Infants School are holding their annual reunion this Sunday, August 29.

The old infants school used to occupy the building which is now Endacott House in Chagford, where the reunion will take place. It is open to those who attended the school before 1936 when it was closed down and transferred to the other school in New Street.

This will be the tenth time a reunion of former pupils has been held and the majority of those attending are now 75 or older.

Organisers say many former school friends have moved far away from Chagford, so it may be difficult for some to get adequate transport, but it is nonetheless hoped that many will be able to attend the reunion between 11.30am and 5.30pm.
