SIX-week-old bouncing baby Connor O?Hare from Bere Alston was the winner of the Tavistock Carnival Baby Show at the weekend.

Connor was chosen from 36 entries, much to the delight of his parents, Jenna Tonge and Daniel O?Hare, who are pictured here with the youngster.

Ellie Mae Ewence, 18 months, from Tavistock was chosen as the winner in the one to two-year-old category and she is pictured here with mum Claire Robins.

Both winners received a trophy which has to be returned next year and an engraved cup to keep.

The show was held on Saturday in the Tavistock Parish Rooms and the judges, who were really pleased with the turnout, said each year the competition was stronger.
