CALSTOCK FC began the season with a tough away game at AFC Bodmin. Calstock took the lead with a brilliant cross by Shane Richards on his weaker side for Sam Martin to volley home. Late in the first half Bodmin scored the equaliser.

Calstock came out for the second half playing a strong defence throughout the game, making it difficult for Bodmin to create any chances.

Calstock again got their noses in front through a cross by Mark Blanks nicely allowing Lee Hould to put it away with an overhead kick. Calstock were denied the three points as AFC Bodmin equalised with minutes remaining on the clock.
