IN his letter of last week Mr Reynolds suggests that UKIP has gone ?totally bonkers?.

Whilst not disagreeing with this remark I do feel that he is wrong to suggest that the reason for this is that they are to stand against Tory candidates in the next election.

Why not? They are the only party that says it will take Britain out of Europe. However, Euro-sceptic Mr Cox may be now, should he be elected he will do as his leader tells him and that is not to withdraw from Europe .

The Tories, backed by big business, know this country must be part of Europe and wishy-washy pledges to renegotiate are just a sop to their ever ageing membership. After all, who signed this country up to the various treaties but Tory leaders Ted Heath, Maggie Thatcher and John Major.

At least UKIP have a policy on Europe as do the Lib Dems and Labour.

R A N Reynolds said that the UKIP leadership has gone totally bonkers, as they are putting up candidates where there are already seriously Euro sceptic candidates.

If Geoffrey Cox is massively Euro sceptic Mr Reynolds, he should not be standing as a candidate for the Tories. It?s the Tories that are bonkers, Mr Reynolds, if their candidates think they can pull the wool over the voters? eyes by saying they are seriously Euro sceptic when their leader Michael Howard said we will not withdraw from the EU.

If any of the so called Euro sceptic candidates of the three main parties wins a seat, it won?t be for the benefit of our country, just to get on the gravy train.
