TAVISTOCK Company of Archers held a 12-hour sponsored shoot in aid of Vranch House, Exeter, for children with cerebral palsy.
Some 33 archers took part in what turned out to be a good day and everyone enjoyed themselves.
This was the first major charity event the club had undertaken and it went well.
Members shot 5,082 arrows ending up with a grand score of 38,835 completing 84 complete Portsmouth rounds.
The club hope to have raised over £1,000 for the charity and expressed thanks to Safeway for supplying refreshments.
