POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a dangerous driving incident between Grenofen and Horrabridge on Tuesday morning. A vehicle travelling on the A386 overtook on bends near Gem Cottage, forcing a car travelling in the opposite direction onto a verge to avoid a head-on collision. It is believed the driver made three other illegal overtaking manoeuvres on different parts of the same stretch of road at around 7.15am.
