POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in the Horrabridge area recently. The incident occurred on October 7 in the School Lane area, between about 3.15pm and 4.30pm. The rear bedroom window of a house had been forced and the intruder made off with some pieces of jewellery and a small Royal Doulton figurine of a lady in a pink dress, holding a blue fan in her right hand. On the base of the figurine is the word Rachel. Anyone who saw anything suspicious or who noticed a strange car parked in the area at the time is asked to contact PC Burns at Tavistock Police Station, quoting crime reference JT 06/1367.
