OKEHAMPTON Police are appealing for any witnesses to an act of criminal damage on an antiques shop in St James Street last week. The incident occurred sometime from 11pm on Tuesday, March 22, into the early hours of Wednesday morning (March 23). A heavy object was struck against the window several times, but entry to the premises was not gained. Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them on 08452 777444 quoting crime reference JO/05/267.
