LAST week I took my wife to The Range in Plymouth. We then went to the Morrisons on the Kingsbridge road for a snack and some shopping. The fuel on sale was 5p cheaper than in Tavistock.
This week again found us around Plymouth, and needing fuel I went into Asda at Estover; here again fuel is 5p cheaper than in Tavistock. Why do the people of Tavistock have to pay such a premium for their fuel?
A few weeks ago Sainsburys announced a 2p reduction in fuel prices, Morrisons duly dropped by 1p. Within a fortnight it was up to the original cost and within a short time another 2p was added. Last week another increase of 1p was implemented. Is this because the holiday season is upon us or does Morrisons PLC treat the people of Tavistock with such contempt as a matter of policy?
