IN an even first half Gunnislake created three good scoring opportunities and scored from one of these when Andy Wakem found the target.
In reply the visitors had two good efforts but were denied once by the woodwork and then by a good save from keeper Mark Southcott.
With manager Andy Southcott on honeymoon, Steve Gaggini did the half time talk and his words led to an improved second half display. Gunnislake got on top in all departments. Wakem scored his second with Stuart Wakenshaw, Jarryd Kelly and an own goal completing the scoring.
St Austell provide the opposition for Gunnislake this Saturday who are again at home with a 2.30pm kick-off.
