A WOMAN from Tavistock is taking part in 'Race for Life' to support a charity close to her heart.
This is the third time Amy Kiteley will have taken part in Cancer Research UK's Plymouth run, which is being held on Sunday, June 21.
In a bid to raise more money for the charity Amy has decided to run the 5-kilometre route in fancy dress, and welcomes any suggestions.
She said: 'I have cancer on both sides of my family and lost both my grannies to it some years ago, so the more money I can raise to help beat this evil disease the better.
'I'm counting on support from friends and family to help me reach my target of £100 and even smash it. If everyone could sponsor at least £1 and gift aid it then I will be well on my way to reaching my target.'
To donate, visit Amy's Justgiving website at http://www.raceforlifesponsorme.org/amysquirt">www.raceforlifesponsorme.org/amysquirt
All donations are secure and sent electronically to Cancer Research UK. If you are a UK taxpayer, Justgiving will add at least 25% to your donation.
